Quieting the Anxious Mind: A Workshop

We had a packed house for this event last month! We also had really good feedback and plenty of people asking if we would offer it at another time. So here it is again...an informational workshop on learning where anxious thinking comes from, how it affects our minds AND our bodies, and techniques to transition our anxious thoughts into cognitive coping skills. This isn't a yoga class and no physical activity is required. Join Hollie, who is also a Licensed Professional Counselor, for his 90 minute psychoeducational workshop where you will walk away with practical skills to practice a more balanced way of thinking (and living!).

Note: This is a repeat of last month's event, not a continuation of it.

Please wear comfy clothes, and bring something to write with and write on/in (journal or notebook).

Move with Ease Workshop

Brooke will help you explore simple, yet effective mobility techniques that can be seamlessly integrated into your day-to-day routines. After this workshop you will notice positive changes in your strength, range of motion and overall movement quality.

You will discover how to:

- Use the power of your breath to strengthen your everyday movements
- Gain more balance and stability by utilizing the natural arches of your feet
- Improve your posture by learning simple body alignments for your current routines
- Experience more endurance by understanding how to adjust to your body’s signals

- You want to move more with more ease and confidence throughout the day, whether it's at work, at home, or during recreational activities.

Hollie takes Yoga Studio 225 on the road. If you have a beautiful space in your yard, under a gazebo, or in your cozy home, just reach out. She travels all over the Irish Hills area (and beyond) with her yoga mats and is willing to bring yoga to you, your family, and your friends. We can also host your private group in the studio!
